Beni Ouarain "Olive Arches"

Olive green on ivory: a drawing of arches, ladders and open lattices spread loosely over the field, with a small green checkerboard tucked near one corner. The arches stand side by side like doorways and the lines between them wander, so no two parts of the rug repeat.

The rug is 310 × 210 cm. Because the drawing runs in one direction, it is worth deciding which way the arches should face before placing the sofa. The close photograph with the chair shows the green most clearly; from a distance it softens to a sage tone.
