Returns & Refunds
A rug is foundational to a room. It should be lived with before it is kept. Every ARINID piece arrives with a fourteen-day viewing period — ample time to see it in your own light, against your own walls.
The Viewing Period
You have fourteen days from the moment of delivery to decide whether the piece belongs in your home. No reason is required. If it does not resonate within your space, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price.
How a Return Is Arranged
Write to our concierge within the fourteen-day window. We will provide the necessary return documentation; the return shipment is arranged by you, and its direct cost is borne by the client. The piece should be on its way back to us within fourteen days of your notice. hello@arinid.com
Condition of Return
Our ability to accept a return depends on the piece remaining in the condition in which it arrived. We kindly ask that:
- The rug shows no signs of wear, soiling, damage, or alteration.
- It is packaged securely, ideally in its original protective wrapping.
The Refund
Upon safe receipt and inspection of the piece at our studio, your refund is initiated to the original method of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to reflect the credit. Where the fourteen-day right of withdrawal applies, refunds are completed within fourteen days of our receiving the returned piece.
Bespoke Commissions
Pieces woven specifically to your dimensions or specification are made for you alone and cannot be returned to general stock. Bespoke commissions are therefore final sale, and exempt from the fourteen-day viewing period — unless a structural defect is present, in which case we remedy it without question. This reflects the standard exemption for custom-made goods under EU consumer law.
If a Piece Arrives Damaged
Every shipment is fully insured. In the rare event a piece arrives with transit damage, photograph it on receipt and write to us within 48 hours. We will arrange replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you.
