Azilal "Rose Mosaic"

A fine, dense lattice of small diamonds covers the entire field, each cell filled in rose, coral, plum, ochre or soft green on an ivory ground. From a distance the colours blend into a warm pink shimmer; up close every diamond turns out to be slightly different.

At 320 × 205 cm, this Azilal rug was hand-knotted in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, a patient piece given the number of individual motifs. The all-over pattern hides wear well, making it a sensible as well as decorative choice for living rooms, dining areas and busy family spaces. Free international delivery.
