Azilal "Crimson Kaleidoscope"

Large diamonds in crimson, magenta, turquoise and violet overlap across the field, their borders stepped and doubled so that each shape seems to hold another inside it. The effect is kaleidoscopic and warm, with the red tones leading and the turquoise giving it air.

This 308 × 200 cm Azilal rug was hand-knotted in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco from densely packed wool in saturated colour.
