Azilal "Symbol Grid"

A grid of squares in rose, tangerine, sea green, teal and cream fills the rug, and inside many of them sits a small woven sign: a ladder, a cross, a comb or a tiny figure. The layout is orderly, but the symbols vary from square to square, so the rug rewards close looking.

Measuring 280 × 205 cm, this Azilal piece was hand-knotted in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco from thick wool in a lively palette. It suits family rooms, children's rooms and bright living spaces where colour and storytelling are welcome. Free international delivery.
