Beni Ouarain "Sand Columns"

Natural sand and taupe wool, left undyed, is worked with a few broad tone-on-tone columns that show only as changes in pile and shade. The long shag gives the rug a soft, almost fur-like depth, and the palette recalls dry earth and stone.

This 320 × 196 cm Beni Ouarain rug was hand-knotted in the Middle Atlas of Morocco from the natural fleece of local sheep. Its earthy neutrality suits warm minimalist interiors, sitting comfortably beside oak, travertine, leather and linen in a living room or bedroom. Free international delivery.
