Azilal "Candy Stripes"

Horizontal stripes in raspberry, coral, teal, lime and ivory run from edge to edge, crossed by a few broken vertical bands that interrupt the rhythm like a change of tempo. The palette is joyful, and the varying stripe widths keep the eye moving across the surface.

Measuring 300 × 195 cm, this Azilal rug was hand-knotted in Morocco's Atlas Mountains from thick wool in bright contemporary colours.
