Beni Ouarain "Whisper Grid"

Pale cream wool is worked with a tone-on-tone grid so faint that it appears only when light falls across the pile: long diagonals, a loose lattice and a few angular marks that come and go with the hour of the day. The effect is textural rather than graphic, a surface that rewards a second look.

Measuring 315 × 205 cm, this Beni Ouarain rug was hand-knotted in the Middle Atlas of Morocco from undyed sheep's wool with a deep, soft pile. Its restraint makes it an easy foundation for a living room or bedroom where furniture, art and timber should carry the colour. Free international delivery.
