Azilal "Modern Fragments"

Fragments of colour are placed across an ivory ground like a collage: a deep teal block at the top, a scarlet band down one side, a small green square, a slate grey rectangle and a few rose lines near the base. The asymmetry is deliberate, giving the composition the feel of modern painting.

At 320 × 198 cm, this contemporary Azilal piece was hand-knotted in Morocco's Atlas Mountains from thick natural wool. It works in design-led living rooms and studios where a rug is expected to hold its own next to art and sculptural furniture. Free international delivery.
