Beni Ouarain "Pale Lattice"

An ivory field holds a large open lattice drawn in a shade only slightly deeper than the ground, so the diamonds seem to float in and out of view. Toward the edges the lines soften further and the surface becomes almost plain, leaving the thick pile to do the work.

Measuring 320 × 200 cm, this Beni Ouarain rug was hand-knotted in the Middle Atlas of Morocco from natural, undyed wool. The long proportion suits living rooms with a deep sofa or a bedroom with a wide bed, and the near-monochrome palette settles easily into any colour scheme. Free international delivery.
