Azilal "Emerald Lattice"

A saturated emerald field carries an open lattice of ivory lines that meet in long, narrow diamonds, the grid loosening toward the base where one small diamond sits alone at the centre. The deep pile catches the light unevenly, so the green moves between forest and jade across the surface, a quiet effect of hand-spun wool and natural dye.

Measuring 300 × 205 cm, this rug was hand-knotted in the Azilal region of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, where weavers work from memory rather than from drawn patterns.
